As a Design Consultant, Meghan is responsible for a great deal of what happens ‘behind the scenes.’ In addition to assisting Sales in determining a client’s unique spatial and budgetary needs, Meghan selects and prices product, creates furniture plans, develops high quality renderings, selects finishes, and assembles installation drawings. Meghan primarily works on projects within the corporate market, with several involving close collaboration with A&D firms. A great number of these projects engage in hospitality-influenced design, a rising trend in workplace environments that focuses on the employee experience and fosters community.

Meghan joined Henricksen with a strong background in hospitality design. Soon after her graduation from college, Meghan was working as an Interior Designer on several hospitality projects, including breweries, restaurants, night clubs, and cigar lounges. Meghan’s experience in designing hospitality spaces aligns with Henricksen’s excitement to bring hospitality-influenced design to the workplace. With an aptitude for designing spaces that have the power to contribute to a tailored, unique experience, Meghan can assemble one-of-a-kind furniture and accessories packages to help our clients create impactful work environments.

Some of Meghan’s pastimes include roller skating, hiking, and experimenting with creative art projects. When spending time with friends, Meghan enjoys attending live music performances and traveling to explore new cities. She and her partner recently moved from Charlotte, NC to Chattanooga with their three cats (Calvin, Margot, and Roy) and their Black & White Argentine Tegu, or giant lizard (Bizi). Meghan and her partner are falling in love with their new home, which offers the excitement of a downtown as well as a peaceful escape to its surrounding natural areas.
